From Silent Struggles to Stage and Strategy

I know what it’s like to be afraid to speak. Born with a speech impediment, I worked hard to find my voice, and at just eight years old, I landed my first professional role in a Heinz Baked Beans TV advert. Performance became my path to confidence.

I trained in theatre and screen acting, supporting myself through roles as a makeup artist, sales trainer, and event manager. These experiences gave me a profound understanding of performance, presence, and connection, both in front of and behind the camera.

Corporate Experience with Creative Insight

My career evolved into corporate sales and channel management, where I spent over 20 years working with manufacturing clients, sales teams, and marketing departments. I led major projects, trained high-performing teams, and served as the liaison between internal departments and external partners.

Throughout it all, I continued to present, coach, and perform, bringing authenticity, empathy, and clarity to every interaction. These experiences shaped my approach to communication: a blend of strategy and storytelling, structure and creativity.

My Loves: My Family, my podcast ‘The Wise Why’ and my life

When I’m not working, I’m with my family, baking bread, making jam, and enjoying the simple joy of home life. I’m a mum, a wife, and someone who values real connection over perfection.

That love of connection inspired The Wise Why, my live stream series of interviews, sharing honest conversations with inspiring people from all walks of life.

In 2024, I teamed up with business coach Gill Gayk to launch Cultivating Confidence . In this monthly livestream, we discuss openly confidence, mindset, and what it truly takes to be yourself in business and beyond.

Graduating Arts Education in 1990, I joined the chorus of 42nd. I have appeared as guest artist in Bafta award winning television shows and toured nationwide as presenter.

Currently host of the The Wise Why Podcast on LinkedIn and YouTube.
