My History: Actor and Presenter, Sales Trainer and Channel Manager, Field Sales and Event Management

Born with a speech impediment (I know what it is like when words fail you!), but with a lot of help and determination, I got my first professional role at the age of 8 starring in a TV advert for Heinz Baked Beans.

I supported myself as an actor while also juggling other jobs such as makeup artist, sales trainer, and event manager. This allowed me to have a more comprehensive view of your performance, not just what you do on camera.

In my role as a manufacturing channel salesperson, I worked closely with clients and their customers to secure large-scale projects. This experience taught me how to effectively coordinate and work with people, building harmonious relationships with everyone involved.

During my time in Channel Sales, I acted as the main point of contact between the internal and external product and marketing teams. I ensured that the go-to-market message was consistent, on-brand, and effective.

The combination of my qualifications, experience, and skills have led to the establishment of KVDB, my consultancy and coaching agency in 2020. With my expertise, I can effectively enhance an organisation’s marketing efforts.

I blend my experience in on-camera work and video production with my skills in presentation and clear expression, as well as my years of sales and marketing background, into a custom package that suits my client’s needs.

My straightforward communication approach has helped clients from diverse industries, including recruitment, security, shipping, environmental services, education, drama students, business coaches, and entrepreneurs.

My mission is to bring together your sales, marketing and social media teams and create content that converts.

“The Wise Why” is a collection of weekly, unedited live interviews of inspirational individuals packed full of real-life experiences and proper motivation.

In addition to my business, I am passionate about my family and the simple things that come with being a wife and mother, such as baking fresh bread and making jam from the fruits and cordials from my garden.

I’m also a public speaker at various conventions and forums. I discuss multiple topics: communication strategies, social media marketing, presentation skills, business journey, and personal development.

I have also been awarded three prestigious awards: ‘Social Media Consultant’ of the Year 2023/2024 by the Global Awards, ‘Business of the Year’ by the Techpixies in 2023 and Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award

Graduating Arts Education in 1990, I joined the chorus of 42nd. I have appeared as guest artist in Bafta award winning television shows and toured nationwide as presenter.

Currently host of the The Wise Why Podcast on LinkedIn and YouTube.

2010 – 2011 Joined Retail Profiling Consultants, training and developing the in-store demonstration team.
