From finding my own voice to helping others communicate with confidence.

Born with a speech impediment, I grew up knowing what it feels like to struggle to be heard. Speaking felt frightening, yet at eight years old I stepped into my first professional role in a Heinz Baked Beans TV advert. That moment changed everything and taught me that confidence is not something you are born with. It is something you build.

I trained in theatre and screen acting, working as a makeup artist, sales trainer and event manager. These experiences taught me how people communicate under pressure and what gets in the way. I learned how clarity, structure and genuine connection help even the most nervous speaker find their voice.

My journey from silence to stage shapes everything I do today. My approach is honest, empathetic and grounded in practical communication that builds real confidence.

Graduating Arts Education in 1990, I joined the chorus of 42nd. I have appeared as guest artist in Bafta award winning television shows and toured nationwide as presenter.

Currently host of the The Wise Why Podcast on LinkedIn and YouTube.
