Public Speaking & On-Camera Presenting

Building Confidence & Connection

Public Speaking & On-Camera Presenting can feel overwhelming, whether you are addressing a live audience or speaking to a camera. That sense of doubt, the racing thoughts, the fear of getting it wrong… it is completely normal. You might feel unsure, nervous, or even stuck, struggling to get your message across in a way that feels natural.

Have you ever watched yourself back on video, only to feel uncomfortable and wonder why your eyes keep moving from side to side? That disconnect between how you think you look and how you come across can be unsettling. It is one of the biggest challenges when presenting on camera—knowing where to look, how to engage, and how to feel at ease.

Public speaking and on-camera presenting may seem similar, but they require different skills and approaches:

📌 Public Speaking – Engaging a live audience means adapting in real-time. You can see facial expressions, read body language, and adjust your tone or talking speed during your presentation. Eye contact and physical presence play a big role in building connection; natural pauses allow space for impact. You can move around, react to the energy in the room, and create an interactive experience.

🎥 On-Camera Presenting – Speaking to a camera means engaging an unseen audience, which presents a new challenge: holding their attention without real-time feedback. If you pause for too long, you risk losing them. If you speak too quickly, they tune out. Unlike an in-person setting, viewers can easily switch off their cameras and multitask, passively listening rather than actively engaging.

”It’s not what you say but how you say it”

~ Albert Mehrabian

This is why your setup matters—from how you position yourself on screen to the colours you wear. Small details like lighting, framing, and movement influence how you hold attention. On camera, your expressions, tone, and gestures become even more important. It is not just about what you say but how you say it.

You are not alone if you feel unnatural on video or struggle to hold your audience’s attention in person.

How I Help

Confidence does not come from memorising every word—it comes from feeling prepared, comfortable, and in control. Whether speaking on stage, in meetings, or on video, the key is finding a delivery style that works for you.

Together, we work on:

âś… Overcoming nerves and replacing self-doubt with confidence
âś… Finding a natural, engaging style that feels like you
âś… Learning practical techniques to connect with any audience, whether in person or through a screen
âś… Building clarity so your message is clear, compelling, and memorable
âś… Developing body language, vocal delivery, and presence that feel authentic and effortless

When working with clients, I start by listening—understanding what they do and what they want to talk about.

I am not here to turn you into the next TEDx speaker who follows everyone else’s structured style. I focus on you—the person. My goal is to help you refine and enhance your natural speaking style, build confidence, and bring your authentic self to the stage and on camera.

What Changes After Working Together?

✅Confidence replaces self-doubt – No more second-guessing. Instead, there is a sense of ease and assurance when speaking.
✅Clarity brings control – Messages become clear, engaging, and easy to deliver.
âś…Speaking feels natural – Instead of “performing,” it feels like a genuine conversation, whether in a meeting, on stage, or on camera.
✅Excitement takes over fear – That nervous energy transforms into motivation, making presenting something to look forward to rather than avoid.

It is not about being perfect but about feeling comfortable, authentic, and in control.
